Description
Mapei Mapeproof One Coat is a professional-grade, two-component, single-coat epoxy surface damp proof membrane designed to control residual, static and construction moisture in subfloors prior to the installation of resilient, textile and LVT flooring finishes. It offers effective moisture control on cementitious substrates and anhydrite screeds where moisture levels are elevated, helping to protect your subsequent glue-down LVT installation from moisture-related issues.
This system is suitable for use on cementitious subfloors and calcium sulphate/anhydrite screeds where relative humidity (RH) is above 75% and below 97% (cementitious) or 90% (calcium sulphate/anhydrite) and where an effective structural damp proof membrane is present. It can be applied with brushes, rollers or suitable notched trowels over mechanically prepared and surface-dry substrates.
When applied correctly, Mapeproof One Coat provides a single-coat solution that significantly reduces moisture vapour transmission — helping to safeguard your flooring installation. It can be used with underfloor heating systems on cementitious substrates (provided they have been fully commissioned). It is not recommended for use under wood flooring installations on heated floors.
- Single-Coat System: Offers moisture control in one application, reducing labour time and preparation steps.
- High Moisture Tolerance: Effective on substrates with elevated residual moisture up to 97% RH (cementitious) and 90% RH (anhydrite).
- Underfloor Heat Compatibility: Suitable with underfloor heating on cementitious substrates once commissioned.
- Prepares Base for Levelling and Glue-Down Flooring: Provides moisture control before levelling compounds or adhesives are applied, helping protect bonded flooring installations.
