Description

Mapei Latexplan No Ammonia is a professional two-part, fast-setting smoothing and levelling compound designed to prepare internal floors before the installation of floor coverings such as glue-down LVT, luxury vinyl, tiles, wood and carpet. Its ammonia-free formulation makes it ideal for use in occupied areas and spaces where low odour and rapid turnaround are essential.

The compound comprises a 20 kg grey powder (Part A) blended with a 4.4 kg synthetic rubber liquid latex (Part B). When mixed, it produces a smooth, easy-to-apply levelling bed suitable for correcting surface irregularities from approximately 3 mm to 10 mm in a single application.

Latexplan No Ammonia can be applied over most existing adhesive residues — including bitumen — and onto plywood substrates in many cases without priming. Once mixed and applied, it is walkable within around 60 minutes and ready to receive bonded floor coverings after approximately 4 hours, depending on ambient conditions

This product is compatible with underfloor heating systems and can be used on concrete, sand/cement screeds, existing tiles, stone and other standard subfloor types. Its very low VOC emissions and minimal odour make it suitable for commercial and residential environments where indoor air quality matters.
