Description

Mapei Latexplan Trade is a professional, two-part levelling and smoothing compound designed for use on new and existing internal floors before installing floor coverings such as glue-down LVT, vinyl, carpet, wood, and tiles. Comprising a 25 kg grey powder (Part A) and a 5 kg synthetic rubber latex liquid (Part B), this compound levels surface differences from approximately 1 mm up to 10 mm in a single application.

Its very low odour and protein-free formulation make it suitable for use in occupied areas and confined spaces, while the high compressive strength delivers a smooth, durable finish that can be rubbed down if required. Latexplan Trade can be walked on in 1½–2 hours and is typically ready to receive floor coverings after around 12 hours, depending on thickness and ambient conditions.

This compound is compatible with surface membranes such as Mapeproof ESM and is suitable for use over concrete, cement-based screeds, and other common substrates.
