This built-in underlay provides cushioning underfoot, helps with sound reduction, and speeds up installation. Just make sure your subfloor is level, clean, and dry before fitting.

You can however, use an additional underlay if required for other specific subfloor or construction needs, such as enhanced soundproofing between floors or to meet building regs in flats or conversions. Just make sure any extra underlay is suitable for use with rigid core SPC flooring and doesn’t exceed the recommended total thickness.
