How Our Delivery Works

Navigating the journey from placing your order to receiving it at your doorstep is straightforward with Floor Warehouse. Here’s a simple guide on how our delivery process ensures your order arrives on time and in perfect condition.


Placing Your Order

After you place your order online, it's immediately forwarded to our processing team. You'll receive an email confirmation with your order details and invoice, marking the start of the order process.


Order Processing

Our team reviews your order details and begins processing. Once all details are confrimed we will email you your delivery date and information. If additional information is needed, we’ll be in touch.


Warehouse Preparation

Following processing, your order moves to our warehouse team. Here, it is carefully prepared and packaged, readying it for shipment. The dispatch cut-off time is typically 1pm.


Delivery to Your Doorstep

On the scheduled delivery date, usually 2 working days, your order will be delivered to you. Should you have any specific delivery instructions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

How are delivery charges calculated?
  • 48 Hour Delivery Service: Enjoy prompt delivery with a flat rate of £48.

  • Free Delivery Offers:

    • Solid & Engineered Wood Flooring: Free delivery is available for orders over £2000.00.
    • LVT, SPC & Laminate Flooring: Free delivery applies to orders over £599.99.

Additional Charges: Please be aware that orders delivered to certain areas may be subject to additional charges. These areas include:

Northern Ireland, Ireland, Channel Isles, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Outside of the UK.

How long does delivery take?

For UK mainland, delivery is typically within 2-3 working days. We aim to deliver in 2 working days if ordered by the cut-off time 1pm.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, islands, and non-mainland UK may take up to 5 days and could incur additional charges.

Where do you deliver?

We deliver throughout the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Our service is a ground floor, one-man kerbside delivery. For larger items, the driver may require assistance with unloading.

Can I choose or change my delivery date?

Yes, you can specify a delivery date at checkout or contact us after you have placed the order to change the date.

If no delivery date has been specified then we will contact you with your delivery date and all relevant delivery information before dispatch.

What type of vehicles do you use for delivery?

Deliveries may be made in large commercial vehicles, including up to 18-tonne lorries. Please ensure your property is accessible for these vehicles or inform us otherwise in your order notes or by contacting us directly.

What happens if I'm not available to accept the delivery?

If no one is available at your specified address to accept the delivery, we will need to charge for re-delivery when you reschedule.
