How Our Delivery Works
Navigating the journey from placing your order to receiving it at your doorstep is straightforward with Floor Warehouse. Here’s a simple guide on how our delivery process ensures your order arrives on time and in perfect condition.
Placing Your Order
After you place your order online, it's immediately forwarded to our processing team. You'll receive an email confirmation with your order details and invoice, marking the start of the order process.
Order Processing
Our team reviews your order details and begins processing. Once all details are confrimed we will email you your delivery date and information. If additional information is needed, we’ll be in touch.
Warehouse Preparation
Following processing, your order moves to our warehouse team. Here, it is carefully prepared and packaged, readying it for shipment. The dispatch cut-off time is typically 1pm.
Delivery to Your Doorstep
On the scheduled delivery date, usually 2 working days, your order will be delivered to you. Should you have any specific delivery instructions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

How are delivery charges calculated?
Standard Mainland UK Delivery: £48 (48-hour service).
Free Delivery Offers:
- LVT, SPC & Laminate Flooring: Free delivery on orders over £599.
- Solid & Engineered Wood Flooring: Free delivery on orders over £1400.
Additional Charges: Deliveries to the following areas may be subject to extra charges:
- Northern Ireland, Channel Isles, Scottish Highlands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish Islands, Republic of Ireland, Outside of the UK.
Please note: Due to recent regulatory changes (Windsor Framework, May 2025), deliveries to Northern Ireland may be subject to minimum order requirements. If you’re based in Northern Ireland, please contact us before placing a sample or flooring order so we can confirm feasibility and provide the most accurate delivery options & costs.
Note: Additional handling fees may apply for small orders.
How long does delivery take?
For UK mainland, delivery is typically within 2-3 working days. We aim to deliver in 2 working days if ordered by the cut-off time 12:30pm.
Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, islands, and non-mainland UK may take up to 5 days and could incur additional charges.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout the UK mainland and Northern Ireland. Our service is a ground floor, one-man kerbside delivery. For larger items, the driver may require assistance with unloading.
Can I choose or change my delivery date?
Yes, you can specify a delivery date at checkout or contact us after you have placed the order to change the date.
If no delivery date has been specified then we will contact you with your delivery date and all relevant delivery information before dispatch.
What type of vehicles do you use for delivery?
Deliveries may be made in large commercial vehicles, including up to 18-tonne lorries. Please ensure your property is accessible for these vehicles or inform us otherwise in your order notes or by contacting us directly.
What happens if I'm not available to accept the delivery?
If no one is available at your specified address to accept the delivery, we will need to charge for re-delivery when you reschedule.
Inspect Your Delivery
When your flooring arrives, please take a moment to check that everything looks in good condition before signing for it. In the rare case you notice any damage, please do the following:
- Make a note on the courier’s paperwork (or sign as “damaged”).
Email us right away with the details and clear photos so we can assist you promptly.
This step is essential because couriers require damage to be reported at the time of delivery in order for us to make a claim.
