Description
SF108 is a high-performance, pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive designed for the installation of PVC, vinyl and other resilient floor and wall coverings. Formulated as a one-part acrylic co-polymer emulsion, it provides a solvent-free, non-flammable solution with low emissions (EC1 rated), making it suitable for internal use across residential and commercial environments.
This adhesive is specifically designed for dry bond (pressure-sensitive) installation, forming a clear film once cured that allows floor coverings to be accurately positioned before being firmly rolled into place. This method offers extended working time and flexibility on site, making it particularly well suited for larger installations or areas requiring precise placement.
SF108 delivers reliable performance with a wide range of vinyl types, including highly plasticised materials. It can be applied using a notched trowel and rolled smooth to eliminate serration marks, or applied by roller on smooth, even subfloors where a uniform coating can be achieved.
Suitable for use on prepared internal substrates such as concrete, sand/cement screeds, plaster and plasterboard, SF108 can also be used in conjunction with underfloor heating systems, provided the system has been properly commissioned and installation guidelines are followed.
